The Position
Intertrust Private Wealth is a specialist team of administrators which caters specifically for the needs of wealthy families, family offices and owner-managed businesses. You will work closely with your team to manage a portfolio of private wealth clients covering a variety of trust structures. This role requires good attention to detail and someone who is a technical expert with Trusts Structures.

Technical Attributes

  • Collaborate with your team to manage your client's portfolio, offering advice from our internal processes
  • Become an expert in technical matters relating to trusts
  • Liaise with associates in the co-ordination of the company secretarial function for all client companies within the team, to include board and general meetings, statutory requirements including filings, maintenance of registers and attendances at senior level board meetings

Client Care

  • Ensure delivery of client services meets agreed service standards and is compliant with risk management policies, procedures and practices
  • Communicate openly and honestly with clients and your team on a regular basis
  • Pro-actively manage and develop client relationships, playing a key role in business development
  • Maintain client documents with integrity and with the highest level of confidentiality

People & Team

  • Be accessible and approachable to all team members, offering guidance and development when required
  • Work with the team to develop their skills using performance management tools, including appraisals, 1-to-1s and coaching
  • Take care of and establish good relationships with all suppliers, team mates and clients
  • Drive the team and your personal development using all the resources available at Intertrust to achieve success
  • Carefully assist the Associate Director in ensuring compliance of the team with all internal policies and procedures, with particular reference to local legislation and internal policies and procedures

Financials

  • Assist Associate Director to achieve team targets and budgets set by Intertrust
  • Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure the client's are correctly invoiced
  • Pro-actively assist in the management of the financial affairs of the team, including budgeting, monitoring against performance and review of staff time charging,
  • Review aged debt and other financial information as required by the Global Finance Team

 
Skills & Expertise

  • Strong academic record with a JFSC professional qualification (ICSA/ STEP/ ACCA)
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Broad understanding the wide range of fiduciary products offered by Intertrust
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to inspire and develop junior staff members
  • Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions
